Who ever said there is no such thing as an eco-friendly Party is telling fibs!

Let’s be honest. Sustainability isn’t generally the first word that POP’s to mind when you brainstorming balloon décor, right?

Putting all jokes aside (only for a sec), from the moment I established this business, this to me is an absolute fundamental component that I place at the forefront on my work.

Less Talk Chrissy, More Action….

Alright, hold your Ball(oons). Let’s take a closer look to how I implement this into my business to warrant that i’m looking after the planet (N Beyond)

(1) Use of Naturally Sourced Latex ONLY

Here at Balloons N Beyond, most of our balloon installs & all of our latex balloons, we use only premium quality natural latex (there is no purchasing rubbish balloons here). Therefore being 100% sustainable & 100% biodegradable. This is sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified & Forest Stewardship Council Plantations who support working toward building healthy rainforests & assist towards overcoming the challenges of climate change.

(2) We give a flying balloon to what happens to your balloons after your events.

Even though the release of balloon add a volume of fun & most certainly an instagrammable touch to your events & celebrations, there super detrimental to the environment.

Let’s think about this……..

What goes up - must come down

Balloons love defying gravity as they venture on there journey for thousands of kms until they POP and eventually deflate straight back to earth as a piece of rubbish. Although our latex balloons are biodegradable, our bubble balloons, foils, tassels or ribbons unfortunately aren’t. Thus, all the wildlife can be seriously harmed by becoming entangled of if ingested.

It is for this reason, Balloons N Beyond are proud and active members of the Pro Environmental Balloon Alliance (PEBA). As a member of PEBA, we do not support, condone, now will facilitate the deliberate release of balloons. We are committed to the responsible use and disposal of all our balloons which as 100% BIODEGRADABLE.

Furthermore, we are passionate about educating you and our clients against balloon released & regarding the appropriate disposal of balloons.

(3) Refurbished & upcycled Décor

As you have probably witnessed after exploring my website & socials, I love to pair my balloons with unusual props which make up the bulk of my event hire collection.

I’m infatuated with giving materials a new lease of life. So, here is a FUN FACT for you. Most the décor pieces that make up my event hire collection were other peoples trash that I curated into my treasure. Most of these ornate pieces I own, I salvaged from landfill by using my creative sparkle, upcycling and providing new life to old pieces. Whilst all materials have been repurchased, recycled and repurposed in a sustainable way and 100% Australian Made of course, implementing innovative strategies is not only being resourceful, however also allow me to to share with you :)

In regards to the rest of the props, evidently, the props are used again & again & again until the point I am unable to bring them back to any sort of life form, thus there is literally nothing left of them.

So, ultimately, Balloons N Beyond is not only here cause we care about the environment & the planet we live in. However, we are also here to offer balloon gifts & décor to you to share with your friends & family that POP boring right out of this world N Beyond.
